OUR OFFICE AND TEAM

Angela grew up in Minnesota and chose to work in the dental field because she married a dentist! For many years, Angela helped “behind the scenes” but jumped in 100% when Dr. Watson acquired North Portland Dental Care in 2015. She loves supporting the team and building relationships with our patients. When not in work mode, Angela enjoys learning and volunteering with the Portland Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET), plus stays active outdoors by hiking, biking, and paddleboarding.

Amy was born and raised in Portland. As a long-time dental assistant, she loves meeting new people and helping patients have the best possible experience while in our office. She finds dentistry fascinating and continues to learn something new every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time gardening, reading, laughing at ridiculous comedy shows, and hanging out with her partner, her daughter Harper, and her miniature dachshund, Frankie. Fun Fact: Amy loves to drive fast – and barefoot!

Julian (“Jules”) grew up in Portland and attended Benson Polytechnic High School, where he had the opportunity to learn about the dental field and do some job shadowing at our practice before deciding on a career path. After completing his undergraduate degree at Oregon State, he re-joined our team as a dental assistant and is building his experience before attending dental school at OHSU. Outside of work, Jules enjoys exploring the outdoors, gaming, and spending time with friends and family (including three cats and two dogs!)

Daren grew up in Olympia, WA. After working in food service for several years (including as a shipboard cook in Alaska!), he found his calling in dental hygiene. In this role, he enjoys connecting with his patients while helping them take better care of their smile. Outside of work, Daren can usually be found chasing the sunshine, hiking with friends, cooking, or practicing yoga.

Kayleigh was born in Wisconsin and raised in Vancouver, WA. She is passionate about creating a fun and positive dental experience for all patients, but especially children and people who may have anxiety about going to the dentist. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, wakesurfing, baking and spending time with loved ones.

Sierra grew up in Idaho and currently lives in SW Washington with her husband and baby boy, Oliver. She loves interacting with people and enjoys helping patients navigate the sometimes complicated world of medical terminology and insurance.

Outside of the office, Sierra enjoys gaming, going to the gym, and hanging out with her family and dog, Goliath. Her favorite vacation destination is anyplace warm with a beach!
